oh, this is a mighty event ....so grateful for your telling us about it, Luna... I am bereft! Here's why...

nine years ago, when we [Ruth and I] were returning from an exploratory mission to examine the land that would become Edenhope Nature Preserve ...and were following the guides from Tasmate village who took us to this forested place they had offered us ....I felt some tugging on my shoulder... turning my head, there was no one behind me. So I continued a few more steps and it happened again, this time more insistently. This time I turned fully around,;. It was a tree some 15 meters away - i don't even remember what kind of tree - that had expressed this attention upon me. Then, with a great voice that no one else could hear, came "I Love You..."

I walked back to it [Him] ...and threw my arms around his strong body ...and told him I love him too.... this event - needless to say - changed my life. The trees are as much my family now as those with whom I share flesh and blood. He is my brother forever more...
