A common space for harmonic peacemakers

birthday present

.

we are all presented with a gift upon our birthday
wrapped up in flesh and bone its here to stay
and so long as we can breathe we can find the way
to discovering exactly what it is.

but our present seems to shrink as tomorrows mirage grows
sidetracked by our past and future dreams
while Now is our forever and Now the true content
all the rest is empty and already spent.

we are human beings we are not machines
and content is not what we think but what we feel
the feeling within is where to begin
to discovering the life we've been given.

the most precious heart is the relevant part
the purpose and point of our living..
