LOVE'S GOAL

Every human in their life
Is graced with inner rights
Hidden underneath the ego
That distorts the truer sights

Our only hope to true love
Has already made its way
To a goal that is most worthy
A saving grace we need today

When two souls meet in splendor
Desiring to give their best
They dig deeper to discover
Life’s greatest challenges & tests

They will make a goal to master
Every self degrading urge
Every egotistical temptation
Allowing falsities to purge

To give someone our best
Anything less just will not do
So when giving the best of our love
Love’s best overflows on us too
One may call it karma
Divine will, or God’s Master Plan
True love’s goal is that God’s Best
Is willed throughout the land!
