The altruistic Bodhisattva awakening creates a brand new platform to help the (still) individual consciousness to mature.

Dharma education is 10% learning and 90% unlearning!

What is more important than enlightenment? This is the question that advanced meditators ask themselves when presented with other opportunities in life.

If we continue to meditate on the Buddhist path we will eventually have all kinds of experiences that we may never have had before, such as bliss, clarity, nonconceptuality, and clairvoyance. But we must understand that they are only a byproduct of our meditation, and that they are not the ultimate goal. If we become attached to these experiences they will only distract us from the path and we will not progress towards Buddhahood.

The path to the awakened state is as difficult as you envision.

As cool as a lotus pond
Its ground covered in pearls and silver dust
May your days be filled with bliss
Refreshed by the dharma
