Gratitude practice means every day, no days off, no matter how crazy things appear. The bouquets are getting smaller as the weather gets colder but there are still flowers to pick and when there are no more flowers in the garden there will be beautiful leaves and seed pods to grace the kitchen table. Gratitude is a happy pill ❤️

''Usually, when we reach our limit, we freeze in terror.
Our bodies freeze and so do our minds.
Rather than indulge or reject our experience,
we can somehow let the energy of the emotion,
the quality of what we’re feeling pierce us to the heart.
This is a noble way to live.
It’s the path of compassion – the path of cultivating
human bravery and kindheartedness.''

Happy Thanksgiving!

"I believe that the greatest gift I can imagine to be received from anyone is to be seen, heard, understood, and touched. The greatest gift I can give to anyone is to see, hear, understand, and touch her. When this is done, a connection has been established.”

~ Virginia Satir

Thank you, Eva, for the invitation to join.  Every night before falling asleep I think of at least five things I am grateful for.  Some days there are ten, or fifteen, or even more, but each day there are at least five.  This practice is not limited to bedtime though; it can happen any time at all throughout the day, even multiple times.

"Our real source of help with every need is the Holy Spirit within; and as we keep poised in Spirit, we find ways to reach others in Spirit and call out the best in them and to understand them in a wonderful new way."
