There is so much right with this 30 seconds of blueberry bliss, you may need to lie down and recover from the pleasure.

Do you see yourself here in regard to blueberries?
I do.

I hope she never loses her sense of la dolce vita.

Chilled Cucumber Soup — I'm briefly between trips and this cooling cucumber soup handily cleaned out the fridge before embarking on the next set of travels. Into the blender went juicy cucumbers and spicy radishes, thick buttermilk plus tart yogurt, and chopped garlic scapes and a mix of garden herbs. Thicken, if you like, with some almonds or bread, and season to taste with lots of freshly ground black pepper and some lemony ground coriander.

It is so strange that so few truly know that life is sacred ....and we are here to care for it. Loving-kindness to share, my brothers and sisters

I feel so much better on a vegetarian diet.  I do not eat meat and dairy anymore.  Occasionally, i do have a raw egg in my breakfast drink.  Besides eating this way for health, I am doing this for my compassion to the animals and the environment.

I was not always vegetarian. My girlfriend at the time was vegetarian made the suggestion and I started thinking about it. The more I thought about it the more sense it made. That was 40 years ago.

Cows are rasie only for flesh and meat. Large expanses of land are devoted completely for cows. Natural land areas are ruined. Fresh water is contaminated. Floods caused by over use and clearing of the land becomes more likely. There are so many reasons not to eat meat I do not understand why it is still so widely consumed.

I haven't even touched on the health benefits of avoiding it!

But I will say ....

Namaste

Greetings all. I have been vegetarian for many years and dedicated myself to being vegan last June, during the summer solstice and the daytime lunar eclipse. I stood facing the sun and meditated. I  saw my animal fat being removed from my body. I tossed it as far as I could, then buried it. I did this ritual 3 times. I had tried to be vegan before but this time it worked because I was ready and the strength I gained from sun and moon helped. I call myself 95% vegan because my feet need leather shoes. I have plantar fasciatis and have not found a supportive vegan shoe. I've spent lots of money trying.
