“Peace must first be developed [through education] within an individual. And I believe that love, compassion, and altruism are the fundamental basis for peace. Once these qualities are developed within an individual, he or she is then able to create an atmosphere of peace and harmony. This atmosphere can be expanded and extended from the individual to his family, from the family to the community and eventually to the whole world.” –The Fourteenth Dalai…

Have you heard
what your heart recently told
Have you watched
the beats all night long getting old
A pumping muscle
a pulsating blood
a red flush on your face
a heavy feet with tons of weight to arouse
What´s about your breath
your clear view
your vibrating voice
did you ever had a choice
An automatic flow
a rhythm of nature
a reflex of behavior
a dry tongue for…Continue

The well is the family life into which we have fallen. It is verily the Guru(spiritual preceptor) who has come up to lift us out of this well of a family life. The rope that he drops for us to take hold of is verily the path of Namasankirtan (taking the Divine Name of the Lord). It has the trademark of innumerable saints who have followed this path. Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
You may be reading this and going through a difficult time yourself right now. It may be something even too troubling to talk to anyone about. But you can know for certain "that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose".

The man on top questions back, Do you think that I do not value my life? I can lift not just one like you but a hundred, a thousand, a lakh and a crore of people fallen into this well.

Kabir says, If Guru and Lord were to appear before me, I would ignore Lord and prostrate to my Guru.
Why does he say so?
He explains, when I was filled with the filth of the vices of my mind it was my Guru who took me unto Himself and cleansed me. Lord did not turn to my side at all. It is only after I have been…
