a dream with my love

it is about 6 AM

a rainy Wednesday morning

half awake

for no apparent reason

no agendas

no office…

in a Life Time “Here”

if a lifetime here

is but a glimpse of light

that peeks through

the fabric of time

he closed his eyes

just after twilight

and rode his dreams

towards death

senses enlivened

seeking peace

when he arrived

at the gate

it was chained and locked

and death defied him

deep within

in the deepest most recesses of Soul

there is peace

enshrouded in the cloak of…
