the wine of life

when distracted from the golden path
building castles in sands of earth
then this is all just one big toy
for all to play with and enjoy
doing it with little pain
whatever way whatever rings
engaging our attention.

Now when we tire and seen it all
then seek to know what more its for
then questions that we cannot ask
because they have no words
are expressed in longing
wanting, wishing has a thirst
a fire that can be quenched
when the 'wine of life' comes first.
