The heart of man is a wonderful beast 

that can awaken and begin to fly:

tether it not to material things 

lest you stunt its wings and cause it to die.

         

The heart of man is a fountain of peace

that gives waters of life to thirsty souls:

it sings such a sweet and beautiful song 

that comforts and settles a worried mind.

   

The heart of man is a box full of treasure

stuffed full with splendid and marvellous things.

It can only open without belief

when within it can trust, just like a child.

  

It is the delicate doorway of life

wherein there is packed all that we need:

the keys to heaven and heaven itself.

Its what we are and from where we belong:

our home.
