    • 1 pineapple (medium sized, peeled and cubed)
    • 1/4 cup lemon juice

    Fruity Sparklers

    Fruity sparklers…a quick and dazzling mocktail with chopped fresh fruits to add that extra crunch to your drink…I have used Monin syrups here, you can use any brand available.

    Required ingredients

    • 1 cup very finely chopped/diced fruits - apples, green apples, pears, pomegranate
    • Few lemon wedges and fresh mint leaves
    • 1 tbsp each monin syrups, have used different flavours, you can choose blue curacao, green apple, passion fruit, watermelon etc.
    • 1 ltr bottle of sprite - chilled
    • Ice cubes

    The days are getting shorter and the evenings glow early in the candlelight ... time to enjoy a warming herbal tea...

    This herbal nerve tea recipe combines skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora), a superior relaxing nervine, oatstraw (Avena sativa), a nervous system trophorestorative, and violet (Viola odorata), an overall nerve restorative, to simultaneously soothe agitation and strengthen the overall function of the nervous system.

    Ingredients

    0.3 part dried skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) leaf
    0.5 part dried tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) leaf
    1 part dried oat (Avena sativa) straw
    0.5 part dried violet (Viola odorata) leaf
    0.5 part dried marshmallow (Althea officinalis) root
    1 cup boiling water

    Directions

    • Add all herbs to a jar and mix well to combine. 
    • Cover the jar with a lid and store in a cool, dark place until ready to use.
    • When ready to prepare the tea, add 1 heaping tablespoon of dried herbs from the jar into a heat-safe mug or container.
    • Pour the boiling water on top of the herbs and stir to combine.
    • Allow the tea to steep for 15 minutes or longer.
    • Strain the herbs from the tea and discard.
    • Add raw honey to taste if additional sweetness is desired. Take a deep breath, sip, and enjoy!

    Christmas Punch

    This Christmas punch is a blend of pomegranate, lime and cranberry, all mixed together into a fizzy beverage that’s perfect for any holiday party. A festive and refreshing drink that can easily be turned into a cocktail for the adults!

    This recipe starts with a can of frozen limeade concentrate. The limeade is blended with pomegranate-cranberry juice and finished off with sparkling water. Add some fun garnishes like fresh cranberries, lime slices and mint, and your punch is ready to serve.

    Ingredients:

    • 6 cups pomegranate-cranberry juice (such as Ocean Spray)
    • 1 can frozen limeade concentrate
    • 6 cups lime flavored sparkling water
    • 2 cups fresh cranberries
    • 2 limes (sliced)

    Here my welcome drink for you for the coming summer season! If you can wait that long... 

    Summer cup mocktail

    Go into the summer vibe with this fruity mocktail featuring red berries, lemonade, mint, and cucumber. Cool and refreshing, it's fabulous on hot summer days...

    Ingredients

    • 1cm thick slice of cucumber
    • 1 sprig mint
    • few frozen red berries
    • 120ml clear, sparkling lemonade
    • ice

    To garnish

    • more frozen berries , chopped fruits, cucumber slice, mint, citrus – all optional

    Method

    • STEP 1

      Chop the cucumber and mint sprig into small pieces. Bring 200ml water to the boil in a small pan and then add the mint and cucumber. Turn off the heat and leave for 2 mins. Add a small handful of frozen berries, let them defrost for a minute, then crush them lightly with the back of a spoon. Strain the mixture. This will keep in the fridge for up to 24 hours and will be enough to make four drinks.

    • STEP 2

      Pour 40ml of your strained mixture into a tall glass. Add a handful of ice and top up with 120ml lemonade. Garnish with whatever chopped fruit you like or some more frozen berries and mint leaves if you have them. Stir gently to combine.
