Yes, it is too warm for my cats in the summer time, particularly Silverman whose fur is very dense. Our greatest battle has been about his excess fur. He does not like me to groom him, brush him or comb him ad growks all the way through when I have to snip out matted places under his 'arms' and such. He lives outside in the hope that this nana will leave him alone.  Lol - :D  
I have supplied two cat houses for them for shelter in poor weather. These are placed on the deck at the ranch-slider door...  The smaller one is due for its final coat of paint in this photo

It was late afternoon when I snapped this one, so the sun was gone.

 My cats are not very musical.
They like to play games rather than instruments.
A toy mouse with seeds inside to chase is Max's favourite.
They also enjoy Christmas tinsel and such.

Nana has to play with them or they lose interest!
(I realise I must proof read twice to avoid my gremlin status!)

After all of those lessons and all of his daily practice, still no mice!

He looked so cute playing the flute; while his mate looking on was quaint.

It's the last day of August, which signals the beginning of Spring for us!
There are plenty of daffodils around to prove it. And you can see how dry it's been of late.

I live in Cherrywood.  We have cherry blossoms at this time of the year.

They fade in a month though.

 This place is a few minutes' walk from my home...

This box is so tiny, it's  hard to see what I'm posting.
It took so long to upload them, I've forgotten what. xx

Lake Rotorua is where I spent many summers with family.

It's very peaceful here.

The lake is warm enough to swim in during summer.
Fortunately it is shallow by the edge, so the water feels warm at first!
Then comes the chill that refreshes, as we plunge into deeper water on a hot day.

The Keas below caught my eye.
They are native to New Zealand.
What cheeky birds they are, too.

Belonging to the parrot family, they are quite tame and can interact with humans.
They also like shiny items and often help themselves to tourists' belongings when their car is parked in a mountain ski resort! "Unfortunately, Keas are also destructive, and have been known to do expensive damage to cars.

I guess the clips you placed on Summer Breeze's wall are  incarcerated Keas.

Something isn't working normally.

I cannot see what I'm typing until it's done.

I never worry for more than a minute.   Everything is working normally now.
I was tired last time I posted, and the computer reflected that.
This morning I've been out doing all of my messages.
Now I'm home for lunch, before I go to my Tai Chi lesson.

I do Tai Chi for the gentleness of the exercise.
There are 108 'moves' in the whole set.
I am going through the set a second time with a different Instructor; which is recommended.

Moy Lin-shin benefitted greatly from his work in developing this particular modified martial art. It was a brief illness that took him to the next realm. He was 67 at his death.

My morning was perfect.

In the afternoon, a little test arrived in the form of a very dominating female.

Apparently 'everone' finds her difficult.
I understand that when I feel disturbed by another's behaviour it is MY issue.
However, on this one I cannot locate the Lesson I am supposed to  learn.
Do you have a process that assists with this? I'd be most grateful to learn it.

I wonder if that was Photo shopped?   There are some marvellous computer tools to do this.

Our Spring may have sprung, but it is rather chilly and breezy. We are experiencing cooler weather at the moment and not enjoying it so much!  At least we don't have to worry about getting sunburnt !!
