Spend On Seed

Let us all gather here once again,
in the name of peace not shame,
strive to build new bonds not bombs
to see if we can carry more along
with us as we ask all those around,
can't we agree on some common ground?

For every peaceful act from any one
can atone for some violent one now gone,
a better way to bring an end to strife,
than to take revenge on another life.

All lost lives are now beyond our reach
so let them rest I do beseech,
we can honour all that ever fell
if in the future we plan well
and prove that waste is ever worse
if we always spend what little's in our purse
on means to destroy when we've more to feed,
let's save that money to be spent on seed.
