— To be born a human does not necessarily make us humane!

Humans need responsibility, fairness, self-determination, compassion and understanding. Humans do not need a free handout, war, mind control and sickness. They need to laugh more and cry less.

The truth is that the world will die before our eyes and us along with it if we do not learn to get along and help preserve the Earth. No one can eat dust, gold or drink polluted water. Death and disease knows no division between race, gender, religious belief or country of origin. Nuclear war will end humanity as we know it.

The world's underclass, long suffering, mostly accept the reality that fate has dealt them. But out of their suffering comes the seeds of change, sometimes nonviolent, like Ghandi, sometimes violent and the wellspring of terrorism. Those who have nothing, in the final analysis have nothing to lose. So, for the good of mankind, societies that "have it made" are well advised to help the unfortunate masses of the planet...all will prosper! Better than war, I should think! Jack
