"...many, many years ago, in XXI century(...)"

This place is devoted to it. Perhaps someone will retell it in the future, and say "That's how incredible the Buddhists of the 21st century were!

Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world.
All things break. And all things can be mended.
Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go.
Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally.
The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.”

When pictures tell vivid stories...

For when they tell you you're messy.

Another short story, ... Thoughts, ... that we should read smiling..

I have a relationship with the tomatoes that grow in my nearby garden. It is a good relationship filled with many happy memories. Others may have different kinds of relationships with tomatoes, isn’t that so? Some folks express a limited relationship by only eating them out of a can or in a restaurant, but others further relate to tomatoes by watering, weeding, picking and preserving them.

Like that, in our Buddhist or other spiritual practice, we don’t want a convoluted and...stylized process that tastes “canned”! We want our very important connection with higher being to be clear, simple, and straightforward. Our alignment should be direct with the Buddha, right? That is the function of Vajrayana practice, to actually meet the Buddha.

Here a short story of one of my FB friends ...

On retreat we create a nice balance between enough to do and enough quiet to gain some continuity of mental thought. Really is that too much to ask from our everyday life also? That we move through our day and feel in charge of our thoughts; is it too much to ask to move at a pace where we can really be in control of our life?
But no, the phone rings, and the computer has "needs"; while spam and email arrive on the phone. You are so connected to media and to communication; it’s jarring to be in daily life. Why do we do it? Because everybody else does it! And that’s a dumb reason.

Gratitude extends far and wide. It touches the heart of many. It makes us feel alive and happy. Everything shines like glitter when we are in a state of grace. Problems do not touch us. We become immune to the negativity of negative people, and can more easily understand their pain. Healthy self-confidence, putting no one down, not ourself nor others, comes naturally. It is as if the sun is always shining even when there are dark clouds. Concern for the welfare of others is front and center in our daily activities when we are in grace. All is well. The exquisite photo of HH Dalai Lama is likely from Shwag Ashram soon after escaping Tibet and being invited to stay in India.

For over 56,700 years my Tribe the People of Mu have been converging with Mother Earth and Grandmother Moon. The practice is simple and direct. It all takes place at all times in all places. This is how it was taught to me. In a place we call the Sweat Lodge or the Round House all things are made clear, since it is very sacred and respected by all. In this place one can visit with the Unborn and the Ancestor at the same time or separately. Because the spirit world is very competitive one is the usual way. The spirit world always makes me feel wanted there. They even compete for my attention because they know I am listening. I am now Building a new Kiva or Round House and it is my first time to do it alone. I live in the desert of California so the ground is hard and full of big rocks some weighing thousands of pounds. The rule is once you start the process of digging in a particular spot you cannot move over to avoid a rock. The diameter of the Kiva is five steps and after three days of digging it is one step down and needs to be five steps down. As all things spiritual people have been showing up out of nowhere to help and I do not know any of them and when they leave I do not notice them leaving. Then yesterday I realized that they were the little people inni-pi. They brought pigi-vi bread and only the little people would know to do this. This was another lesson for me to learn and to know we are never alone someone is always watching or helping. As I am with you my friends.
