- Peace can be the highest form of human expression...
- What is your purpose to joining Peace For The Soul:
- It seems to me, that much of the world is on a quest towards, wittingly or unwittingly, self-destruction. I think peace is a conscious choice and I very much would like to find my family...
- About Me:
- I feel most at home in nature. That’s a given. The dappled light through green forest trees is fuel for any soul. The sand of a beach between my toes makes me giddy. The snow, gently falling on my face on the walk to the coffee shop on a Sunday morning is a treasured pleasure. But truthfully, I’m home in Kathmandu, Cape Town, Paris or Varanasi. I love each of those four places - and others besides. It doesn’t matter where on planet earth I am, for home, after all, resides in the heart. These are troubled times, of course. Perhaps times have always been troubled. I recall my father's stories of being in camps in the Second World War and scrounging for food. No matter the circumstances - there is a way to be at peace. I would like to find my heart family, who feel the same.
- Interests and activities:
- Growing things. Especially vegetables for my vegan table. I am a practicing Buddhist, though it's not a construct for me. I find beauty and peace in many ways of being. Great and small bodies of water are soothing and healing, as are forests and mountain tops and BIG weather, like snow-storms and hurricanes. Our mother has a beautiful way of showing us we can be alive and awake! My beautiful 13 year old son, is my reason for just about everything. We make a good team and I am lucky to know him and to help him - fly.
