I would like to inform everyone the late, great AFZAL SHAUQ, passed on 11-13-2010, in his home in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The peace he sought for the world, has finially come to him. May God hold him gently in the palm of his hands. Care for
his soul. May he rest in peace.

 

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

AFZAL SHAUQ, was a great poet and humanitarian. He was a wonderful father and the best of friend. His spirit was sweet
and gentle. His agenda was peace and prosperity for all people.He had a deep empathy for the impoverished and needy.
For wars to stop and peace to prevail. I have coined him "The Ambassador For Peace." I will truely miss The Ambassador.

I will be waiting

Hand in hand

through the
