Event Description

The 5th Frankfurt Gandhi Talks deal with "Poverty". Gandhi was a non-materialist and preached voluntary simplicity. How did he do that and what were his views about the starving millions in India? The event will try to answer these questions. Moreover, the film "Gandhi, my Father" will be shown in the presence of Peter Ruhe, who assisted director Feroz Abbas Khan with the script and elsewise. On 17th Nov, 10 am, a prayer service will be held highlighting "Poverty" and Gandhi's approach toward the same.
