Greed and selfishness are destroying mother earth and all of her inhabitants. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Business as usual, accelerated consumption of fossil fuel, is poisoning our air, water, and land. Greed is aggressive. It is selfish. It is destructive having little concern for meaningful life. Exxon’s own research in the 1970’s confirmed massive planetary destruction from burning fossil fuels. Yet, they did nothing about it. Rather the opposite. They spread false lies to the contrary. Countless animals and some people are dying in massive bush fires in Australia, floods in California, and draughts in Africa. Many fish and whales are dying from massive amounts of plastic polluting the oceans. This is happening in large part due to global warming fueled by greed. Everyone is intricately interconnected in so many seen and unseen ways. We are all bound together as sisters and brothers in one human and animal family. Let us honor our interconnectivity. Let us teach this in schools and promote love and compassion to go viral. Emaho!
