Peace for the Soul

A common space for harmonic peacemakers

My Lord and My God

The words come easily as I lift you up before my eyes.

This warm feeling that I feel in my heart. Let's me know

that you are near. And now, I stand before you Lord,

in awe of your Majesty and Splendor. I bow before you

and worship you with all that is within me.

Now oh God, I wait. As the dry earth which waits

patiently for rain. Even so I, with expectant jubiltation

wait for your words to come. For your words are like

well springs springing into my heart. Creating in me

the living waters you spoke of. And now of Lord, as

I see what your will is in heaven. Give me the courage

and the strength to do your will on earth. . . Amen

Very nice poem, just for me I'll have to change to:

As the dry earth which waits patiently for rain. Even so I ...

Give me the Courage and the strength to accept your will on earth .... Amen.

Gods will is always that none should persih.  That means in sickness as well.  So always know it's God will for us to be healed.  And if we know that is his will then that's the vision we should carry forth in our hearts and minds. Not only carry it but let faith rise in your hearts and begin to feel it as so.  Thanks for the reply Luna.
