Stories of Nepal
That’s one of the most iconic photos of my project. I photographed Sona in Nepal, in 2017, during Holi. I’m reposting it today just to let you know that this incredible country, which has a special place in my heart, is in a tragic situation.
Nepal is gripped by a deadly second wave of the pandemic. The situation is worse than in India and Nepal has much less resources to cope with such a terrible crisis.
My Nepali fellow photographer Jay Poudyal, who is running Stories of Nepal, has created a fundraiser to help as many people in need as possible. Please follow the link in the first comment and have a look. Any donation will make a difference for somebody in Nepal.
I know Jay very well so I have no doubts that the money will be spend in the most effective way and will help enormously. Besides love, let’s also send some support to Nepal.
