Peace for the Soul

A common space for harmonic peacemakers

All my life I have been upset at the terrible happenings in Palestine and Israel. As I live in a peaceful part of the world, I know what these peoples are missing out on.
Jerusalem should not be a stumbling block, why not make it an international treasure, and administer it as a Neutral state as the Vatican does in Italy.

When peace finally comes to this region, this will seem to all parties to be the correct move.
Peace is the number one ingredient to get things happening. With Peace and finally brotherhood, all things are possible.

Thank you for your true words.
Yes, settlements, and the Israeli attitude to them is also a problem. But Yassa Arafat almost had a State lined up at one stage, but he was entrenched with Jerusalem being its Capital.
Since then the problem of settlements has grown. As long as there is fighting, the Israles are always going to take more land, they have got the perfect excuse.
I say to the Palestinians, sue for Peace, then work away within the rules to get a better deal. When both sides start to respect each other, the solutions will become obvious. Time is short, and much change in attitudes and thinking is required, this all takes time in a peaceful situation, it does not happen overnight. It could take 100 years before both Palestinian and Israeli can walk together as Brothers. But what a contribution to the Planet that would be.

This is a posed photo. This was demonstrated on the site "ipeace.
That is the ugly face of war. Live by the sword, die be the sword. Everyone that takes up arms, accepts that. The whole world knows that the Israelis over reacted to the Hamas rocket attacks. This is what hate leads to, and much worse. The Palestinians and some Arab States, hate the jews and I suppose the Israeli jews hate the Arabs.

I am sure they really enjoy fighting each other, or they would have stopped years ago.
Another myth being spread here. Arab Jews Muslims and Christians have lived side by side for centuries in peace before the Zionists came to the Middle East. The Palestinians Jews, Muslims and Christians bear witness, no one has to reach for outside propaganda to know how Israel came into existence against the people in the land and of the systematic genocide perpetrated by Zionists. Also, The Palestinians do not need to "pose" for fraudulent photos since there are too many real situations.

Zionists came to Palestine in the first place with smuggled weapons they got from the American Jewish mafia paid for by Rothschild etc. This was long before any fighting in Palestine took place which proves that the Zionists always had intentions of chasing off the owners of the land and talking Palestine by force.

The intentions of the Zionists were to take all of Palestine no matter what. Every Israeli party every leader has gone in this direction. There are too many quotes by the early Zionist leaders to deny the obvious. Arafat and no other Palestinian leader could ever leave Jerusalem out of a peace process which Israel has scuttled each and every time. Israel does not want one state of Palestine, nor 2 states with a Palestine simply because with an existing Palestine everyone will always know that the Zionists stole their half to begin with. Israel's intentions are to erase the people and the name of Palestine.

Christine, the Zionists would have us believe this is pixie dust and the Palestinians are simply over reacting for the camera.

I call it a continuation process of genocide not an isolated "conflict."

I would hate the cercumstances people living in my house, their kids playing with my kid's toys while my family and I were left out in the desert to starve. What would you do, love them? It's not a hate of people per say, it's a hatred of evil, as God hates evil.
