11.45am: Delivery of Report to 10 Downing Street

This protest will highlight the upcoming Tibet Needs YOU Now! European Rally for Tibet with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Vienna on the 26th of May 2012.

Ahead of the Dalai Lama’s visit to the UK this month, now is the time to call on European governments to STAND TOGETHER FOR TIBET by taking concrete actions to help end China’s crackdown. Together, we will show David Cameron and British MPs that Tibet needs their support now more than ever.

Following a press conference at the House of Commons, Bianca Jagger will join Tibetans and supporters to present a report by the Society for Threatened People on the deepening crisis inside Tibet at 10 Downing Street.

This occasion will set the stage for the Tibet Needs YOU Now! European Tibet Rally and the Global Day of Action on the 26th of May 2012. Tibetans and supporters all over the world will show their solidarity with His Holiness the Dalai Lama on this day, who will address the rally in Vienna.

Demand greater action of the UK and EU governments to stand together for Tibet including sending an EU delegation to Tibet

Appoint an EU Special Coordinator for Tibet at the European parliament
