"Waiting on a Friend" by the Rolling Stones, recorded in 1972 with British session musician Nicky Hopkins (24 February 1944 – 6 September 1994) on piano and a famous saxophone solo performed by jazz great Sonny Rollins, released on their 1981 album "Tattoo You" and as the album's second single. It reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the US.
