"Der Schwan"
Der Schwan, wenn er sein Ende ahnt,
Das heißt, wenn ihm sein Sterben schwant,
Zieht sich zurück, putzt das Gefieder
Und singt das schönste seiner Lieder.
So möcht auch ich, ist es so weit,
Mal eingehn in die Ewigkeit.
