A common space for harmonic peacemakers
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the spiritual and temporal leader of the Tibetan people.
There is, however, another side to him that is perhaps less well- known.
Although he describes himself as no more than a simple Buddhist monk, he is recognised as one of the greatest living masters of Buddhist philosophy. All over the world, his teachings attract large numbers of Buddhist practitioners and those interested in Buddhism.

His Holiness’ visit to Toulouse is to be organised with this in view. He has accepted the invitation of three Tibetan Buddhist centres, which have created a special association in order to host his visit: Chemins de Sagesse – Toulouse 2011.
The Dalai Lama will be in Toulouse from Saturday August 13th to Monday August 15th, 2011.
The event will be scheduled in two parts:
Teaching at Nantes in 2008
The Dalai Lama’s visit to the Southwest of France will be an exceptional opportunity for students and practitioners of Buddhism —as well as for everyone receptive to His Holiness’ message of peace— to increase their knowledge of Buddhism and to enrich their spiritual development.
For those who have not had the opportunity to register for the event, you can watch the live webcast of the teachings and public talk.
