Crystal Set

i have my own crystal set

a diadem i can't forget

rosy red a ruby gem

resides within------'my heart'

and its tuned to the frequency beyond

beyond the dreams of avarice

the sabre  rattling bones of death

the gnawing fear where lurks the dread

beyond the thirsty hunger and naked want

there:  'the font of life'

much closer than the breath

eternal  spring to quench the emptiness again

and make it all worth more

than just the while it took.
