heartwings and strings

to sail high in the sky on wings of the heart 

we don't need beliefs or opinions or thoughts 

we just need the wings so the heart can fly 

so we must cut the strings before we die.

  

the strings that bind us and tie us down 

are cut by the longing and wanting and more 

like abandoning all that we thought before 

and embracing the feeling of the love within 

that will be shown to us when we begin 

the long winding journey back to ourselves.
