like a snail

like a snail with its shell  

we carry our own hell  

and heaven with us where we go.

     

no one else is there to blame  

for the outcome of our game  

the seeds ourselves we plant and sow.

   

and all is as it should be  

just there to make us see  

even that which we don't know.
