whilst flying from the cradle to the grave 

slowly learning how not to misbehave 

and discovering the total need to love 

most especially when the push comes to shove 

when the fists are bared 

and the teeth get snarled 

then the lovers of peace

will be appalled

and will look within 

then:

become enthralled 

by the presence of peace 

in the midst of war.
