When the musician was bid to pack his strings
the conductor knew there were no other things
he could sing or swing to anyway
on the wing whispering something to say.
Ringing in the heart still silent melody
quickening the longing for home and harmony
all the notes in keys of love and trust
awakening fulfilling needs must.
