     trees shed their leaves  

like litter on the ground 

     wind blowing them around 

and around   

      until they blow away 

disappear, degrade, recycled

      safely again..

        

     Humans shed their litter 

like leaves upon the ground 

     wind blowing it around 

up and down  

     and can be found 

years later, still around   

     on the ground..
