The musk is within the deer

The musk is within the deer,
But he searches for it outside in the grass
instead of searching within himself.
He runs back and forth,
Wondering where the fragrance comes from.
The fragrance is nearby,
But he knows it not.

Caught by delusion, he roams about.
So do all people wander in pilgrimages
and outer observances.
If you wish to obtain your own true Home,
Then find it by looking within yourself
and dwell therein.

The true Lord resides within this body,
Recognize Him through the manifestation of true love.
By churning this body,
And by entering within yourself,
See the manifestation of true wisdom.

Khan ist kein Trump-Freund.
US-Präsident Trump hat einen neuen Gegner gefunden, den er auf Twitter attackieren kann: den Londoner Bürgermeister Sadiq Khan. Dem warf er vor, die Terrorgefahr verharmlost zu haben - so behauptete er, Khan habe den Londonern geraten, nicht in Alarmstimmung zu verfallen. Khan hatte direkt nach dem Anschlag in Bezug auf den großen Polizeieinsatz gesagt, es gebe keine Ursache dafür, in Alarmstimm...ung zu verfallen. Nun wiederholte Khan seinerseits seine Forderung, Trumps geplanten Besuch in Großbritannien abzusagen. "Zu einer Zeit, in der die Politik des US-Präsidenten gegen alles geht, wofür wir stehen, sollten wir ihm nicht den roten Teppich ausrollen", sagte er. Die "besondere Beziehung" zu den USA sei wie die zu einem engen Freund - den spreche man auch darauf an, wenn er falsch liegt. "Und Donald Trump liegt in vielen Dingen falsch."

this poem is popular in england at present.. probably because of the election.. its a bit long but a good read and a very good end.. its by Percy Bysshe Shelley .. after the peaceful crowds were attacked by the kings army..

thanks Luna and tim.. the skill comes with staying with feeling in the present. butterflys flutter by but sometimes they stop still when feeding on nectar. how long do we stop still? its a skill and the more we are with it the more we get of it..  we can only connect with reality Now and then we can feed on the inner resource available to us all.
