"in the middle of the battlefield are you, too, not fighting? Are you not also engaged in a battle? Do you have the need to feel peace?Yes. And where did this need come from? Understand this one point: where did the need for peace in your life come from?       If the need for peace is like the need for sleep, if the need for peace is like the need for food, if the need for peace is like the need for water - if. If so, you will not be able to live without peace. You cannot live without water. You cannot live without sleep, its torture. You cannot live without food you will die. You cannot live without peace. You will walk but you won't know why. You will wake up but you will not know, 'Why am l awake?'You will look up and all you will see is just a sky. You will look down and all you will see is dirt."

´I prayed for change, so I changed my mind.
I prayed for guidance and learned to trust myself.
I prayed for happiness and realized I am not my ego.
I prayed for peace and learned to accept others unconditionally.
I prayed for abundance and realized my doubt kept it out.
... I prayed for wealth and realized it is my health.
I prayed for a miracle and realized I am the miracle.
I prayed for a soul mate and realized I am the One.
I prayed for love and realized it's always knocking, but I have to let it in.

FREEDOM PRAYER
FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM

Praise to the Great Spirit,
To the elusive
Creator and sustainer
Of all life on this planet,
The Earth.

We know that you are;
You see that we exist!

Have mercy on the living
And even greater
Mercy on the dead.

Have mercy on all souls
Of all creatures, created
And sustained, throughout
The universe, throughout
The cosmic-body, the whole
Miracle of life, the living
Reality: the network-webwork
Of infinite threads.

We affirm your Being
Through prayer
And acts of beauty,
Will you confirm
The vulnerability yet tenacity
Of our difficult becoming?

As we speak to you
In adoration,
Will you respond to us
Out of silence?

As we draw near and familiar,
Will you cross and end the distance
Between us, replacing
Separation with mending
With healing?

In praise we gather
And nothing is hidden.
Emerge from hiding
And touch us
With your divine tenderness.
In tenderness
Let our hearts and souls,
Like nut fruits out of shells
Be broken open,
That we together
May fall in love… outwardly.

Praise – praise
To the Great Spirit,
To the Holy Person,
Overseer of all persons;
To the Holy Self,
Who guides us with freedom
To choose peace and justice,
Not violence and vengeance;
To choose understanding
And compassion,
Not ignorance, rage
And blinding malice; to respect
The Earth
And protect from waste
And unwarranted destruction
The wonderment of abundance
And the diversity
Of our created home: third planet
In the system of the sun.

Have mercy on the living
And even greater
Mercy on the dead.

Have mercy on all souls
And bring us, with our
Fears and shadows, our thirst
And our hunger, our elders
And our children
Into the integrated
Light halls of truth.

Many are the paths
To the center; many are the languages
Of affirmative revelation.
In praise we gather
And nothing is hidden.
Emerge from hiding
And touch us with your tenderness:
Your hands of intimacy
Not the gloves of custom
Not the fists of judgment.

The root of all
Belief is compassion.
And tranquility is a garden
Feeding the souls
With evolution of freedom.
There is a deep democracy
Embedded in creation.
This dream is dreamed
By the One-Only-Holy
The Many Named
Yet Sacred Nameless.

The root of
All
Direction is engaged compassion.
And trust is a candle of
Courage - beautiful - humble
And as brilliant
As new day sun.

What democracy is
Dawn to your soul?
What awareness drums
In the centerless-centering
Circle of your heart?

Praise
To the Great Spirit,
Now and everlasting.

Have mercy on the living
Sweet Dove of Now
High Lady-Lord of
Life
And even greater
Mercy on the dead
Who walk behind us
In cosmic Light
Waves of memory
Who live still
In auras resplendent
Of our human yet
Hallowing
Coming on.

HOPE

A POEM BY DR. RAM SHARMA , MEERUT, INDIA

On the zigzag ways of life,
Unknown and unexpected happens,
We get everything without hope,
... Sometimes cruel fate,
Takes everything away,
Sometimes we find a hand to support,
Then we get the real meaning of life,
From good company
We get courage,
We get the way of life,
By hope

RENAISSANCE OF MOMENTS

The most significant experience you can have in this life—short of having a personal, direction changing encounter with your own version of God—is to experience love and trust of another person. The most significant gift you can give with your life is to save another life, especially of a child.

Beyond this: to plant a tree, tend a garden, write poetry with the vigor and grace of walking, sing in the evening before a setting sun, sit like white flower before a red candle flame or underneath white lily moonlight, awaken to pray at dawn and into the night shape prayers before dreams…put wood in the fireplace and water in the kettle.

Life is really that full and simple. And if you do all of this (or any similar set of doing), you will love your life as blessed belonging and live complete—your renaissance of moments.

Seasons will come and go and you, in peace of mind, know at one time your footprints are of sunlight, at another time… in falling snow.

"May the blind see the forms,
May the deaf hear sounds.
May the naked find clothing,
The hungry find food;
May the thirsty find water
... ...And delicious drinks.
May the poor find wealth,
Those weak with sorrow find joy;
May the forlorn find new hope,
Constant happiness and prosperity.
May the frightened cease to be afraid
And those bound be freed;
May the powerless find power,
And may the people think of benefiting one another"

the heart i have never known to be concerned at all. only fulfilling..
