I don't know if anyone comes here to 'what are Your thoughts' anymore,

at mid afternoon on national tv within 2 minutes you can see a guy booger honk grab his balls spit tabacee & cus. I Love Baseball & America.

today is opening day for BaseBall.
We start it off with a parade
and them a game at noon.
I am very excited and hopefully
I will REMEMBER to bring My camera.

too funny.
today is April 8th
and it feels like a summer night.
crazy.
beautiful.
AND! there is a big storm rolling in.
the air has changed.
the wind whispers in the trees.
You can smell it.

and that reminds Me of GrandMa.

is more than meets the ear

great deceivers stand confused
we thank the light of day
lone portion denied
she remains aloof
beyond repute revered

thus spoke zeus imperatives
perchance keep night contained
danaë's yinful wiles
nectar in the bloom
fruition a blind seer

stating clearly what truth is
yet what proof of its gain
love itself on trial

Read and Meditate.
Two of My Favorite Things
of which I do often.
I am currently reading >
the Path of Blessing
by Marcia Prager.
check it out when You can.
I am enjoying it.
But as for today,
I took the Gkids to their first Baseball Practice.
Papou (that's Me) was a little bewildered
getting up at 7 am on a Saturday but I made up for it
by getting a dozen Dunkin Donuts and Two LARGE Coffees.
(One for My Daughter)
It was freezing cold and their poor little hands
were hurting but no one complained.
They have such resilience.
The coaches name is Bud Hill,
and the Team is called the Speirs.
which I only mention because
My daughter yelled at Me ~
I kept calling Him 'Buzz Kill' and the Beers.
I guess You had to be there
and I'm sure it loses a lot in translation,
but trust Me, it was pretty funny.
It was early and the cobwebs weren't quite out of My head yet.
Then when practice was done, We played catch,
ran the bases & practiced hitting the ball some more.
Then We came back home and made lunch.
Rice and Peas. I'm always amazed
at how such a simple meal can be so good.
Now I don't mind telling You
I'm sitting at the computer
and I am feeling the ache.
But not to fret, it is a good ache
and Life is Good.
