Peace for the Soul

A common space for harmonic peacemakers

I miss the me I was before I became disabled... the confident, self-assured, audacious me... the me who walked into a room with my back straight and my head held high. I miss that me...

i must have sympathy for any physical disability but i have to say the opportunity to discover the reality found within the human frame is not dependant on a fully functioning body..   the most precious gift awaits so long as we can breathe.. the experience that waits for us inside this mortal frame is always pristine and perfect.. the challenge is to gain access to it.. its ours, its meant for us and knowing it is there can cause us to want which in turn will provide a path. So long as the heart beats we can make a progress which causes me to laugh and smile and is the source of real fulfilment and happiness. Its not ideas, its not thought and its not BS but it is the nature of life..

Quote of the moment:

"PEACE
NOT WAR
GENEROSITY
NOT GREED
EMPATHY
NOT HATE
CREATIVITY
NOT DESTRUCTION
EVERYBODY
NOT JUST US"
