Freedom...
The privilage of freedom is only given to the few
but for the many freedom exists only in their minds view
peace and freedom can only conquer
when we stop the need for want, greed and squander
my voice is one - and but a whisper
but spoken out may gain a listener
when multiplied a voice gets stronger
then soon an army- the few can't hold no longer
remember freedom is a privalige and free for all
when the few realise this there will be no need for WAR!
just one last thing before i go
the few only exists because we say so
and for those of you who choose not to listen
thats your right and choice
and not my decision

thank you for responding Krishna.....how you celebrate your Freedom is your choice....Johnnie.that's your responsibility ..and i agree with most of what you say ...but our freedom is controlled by the few ....and the few 's power is given too them my the masses...then the many are repaid ..with mind control through media and t.v..telling us what is right and wrong ..what to celebrate or not celebrate ..who to trust and who not to trust ...
you must trust yourself in all of these things..and do what you feel is right...like i say at the end of the poem..
that's your right of choice and not my decision...I will bid you a fond 4th of July .enjoy the day has you see fit...i for one will not be celebrating ..has i am English..but thank you for your response Johnnie

The United States is going to celebrate it's Freedom on July 4...this Sunday....
around America...enough money in Fireworks...Barbeque...and Beer....will be spent
on that one day to feed the hungry people of the world for one year....Freedom is very slippery...
and with it comes great responsibilty....sometimes it seems that those that enjoy it seem to not do enough
to show it and work for it for others...I know I am guilty of this....Happy Fourth of July.....
when you start to buy those fireworks....look around...there has to be something better to do that is longer lasting with your money....something that in some way might bring a little freedom and hope to someone
that desperately needs it.....
