A common space for harmonic peacemakers
Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. The word "Diwali" itself is derived from the Sanskrit word "Deepavali," where "Deepa" means lamp or light, and "avali" means a row. People light oil lamps (diyas), candles, and decorate their homes with lights to signify the triumph of light, knowledge, and righteousness over ignorance and darkness.
