A common space for harmonic peacemakers
Beloved Fraternals
Most of you know me as friends or family or from Dalry’s Story. Some know me since then. Others do not now me personally.
I’m an Australian grandmother of 73 living in Cambodia for the past 12 months. My carer driver has been a Cambodian man of 31, married with a small daughter. Prior to October 2010 my driver was on the whole helpful and amenable. Then at a wedding he linked up with 10 friends from his youth…..blood brothers quite literally. These friends had deserted him in his own time of great need but now wished to make amends. Week by week they undermined the goodwill in his and my relationship.
He started to steal from me and also began a programme of pressure and harassment designed to undermine my health and capacities. 73 is not OLD old. What he did was not on its own capable of too much damage … but the fact that I had also undertaken major responsibilities regarding projects on behalf of an Australian Foundation lent added impetus to his efforts….resulting EVERY SO OFTEN in a disasterous effect on my wellbeing.
Yet every time I went down for the count I came back stronger and more resilient than ever… and with a greater capacity for non-conditional love, compassion, mercy, gratitude, acknowledgement and grace.
Research revealed to me that what I was being subjected to was consistent with WHAT MILLIONS OF OTHER DISABLED AND AGED PEOPLE ARE EXPERIENCING AT THE HANDS OF FAMILY AND CARERS WORLDWIDE.
Knowing that I was standing alone but ON BEHALF OF MANY OTHERS lent added impetus and resolve to my intention to break through this persecution and lay it to rest once and for all.
This demanded constant outlays on my part …..energy .. money …things...time…BUT ABOVE ALL PATIENCE and PERSERVERANCE to bring everything out into the open ….. so that I could be sure that I wasn’t being carried away by own misperceptions ….. and so that others could see through the haze of lies and misrepresentation to perceive what was actually happening.
Dear Fraternals …. may I say in all truth ….. this has been a journey like no other. A journey into the depths of my own being and into the mirror of my own soul.
Every relationship I have or had is being been tested on the basis of our mutual recognition of the vulnerability of those who are disabled and who are of the older generation.
But let it be known…….FROM THIS DAY ON THE PERSECUTION OF THE DISABLED AND AGED BY ANYONE AT ALL INCLUDING THE MEDICAL PROFESSION…GOVERNMENTS ….NEIGHBOURS….AND THOSE NEAREST AND DEAREST…. IS DONE….FOREVER!!!
IT ONLY TAKES ONE!
Will you stand with me??

Dear Dalry,
What a wonderful assertive woman you are!!!!
I AM standing with you.
Stay With Me
I will pray for you, stay with you
until my heartstrings come undone.
These strings will tie me to your sticks
and you'll be my master.
My heart will spill for you, and beat for you
untill all my veins come unstrung.
I will die with you, decay with you
until my heartsprings pull apart.
These sticks play me as a marionette
and I'll entertain for you.
Can you stay with me, and lay with me
until the stars fall from the skies?
Will you play with me, come with me
until my lungs give out?
These breaths you take are the ones
you should never let go.
Will you dance with me, and stay with me,
until our souls become one?
