A common space for harmonic peacemakers
l've been looking away
running out of things to say
and the atrocities seem to worsen
with the passing of each new day
I still pray
but l've been looking away
And when I look
I am bone-shook
there is no part of my fragile humanity
that is let off the hook
I am mute
I've been looking away
I've run out of things to say
but I know we cannot grow
if we do not show
our horror
our care
our ability to share
all pain
none of us gain
it is happening again
there is no such things as 'others'
we are all mothers
when children are slain.

My lovely readers. Comments are now off because it’s just awful. I realise I open myself to attack and criticism posting this but it’s not about me.
I’m not being political or taking sides. Let me be clear…
I want every innocent involved home and safe. I want peace. I wish none of it had happened but that’s wasting wishes. So I wish for it to end. And mostly, right now, I wish for the killing of babies to be stopped.
It is possible to care on a human level and not take sides. I know what I feel. And my heart goes out to all who suffer in this hideousness. Every single human.

Dear all,
I take a very deep breath before posting anything on this matter because I am bombarded with accusations and aggression. I am not a politician. I have no answers except knowing, profoundly, that more innocent babies dying is not an answer to anything, ever. That is it. Your arguments are not welcome here. Of course I pray for the hostages to come home too. And I assume all of us here do. We are good people who just want peace. This particular statement above is not political and not one-sided, it is all mothers for all babies. Xx
