New Yorker Sahar Sahar Says that AFZAL SHAUQ's Poetry Changed The Course of Her Life

Humanity

The world is never devoid of,
milk of humanitarian affection,
Hearts find,
Eternal attraction,
We find something different,
When we make some selection,
We need not just a mirror,
To find true reflections,
Heartfelt love,
Is true face,
If we need some affection,
Love gets love,
With the true attraction

‘Sahar Sahar’

My eyes staring the winds and clouds, floating up the green valleys of northern areas of Pakistan, looked innocuous and wispy,, , gliding in bright sun, appeared as soft touches of convection that fumed from the valleys was a brilliance of poetic touch to my heart was words from a Pashto poet born in green hills of Pakistan named after the zeal of poetry Afzal Shauq.

He strives for peace in his poems, In disastrous days of war in the region, watching incredulously desperate mutiny over bloodsheds due to war. He guides to an ally leading to peaceful surveillance, and preserves his natural propensity towards the humanitarian affection, as he urges for reconciliation and redemption.

I often reflect upon new vistas that reading opens to me. I know in my mind, that reading Afzal Shauq's poetry changed the course of my life. My homemade education gave me after reading his poetry, the tranquil serene and cool mind.

Like an avant-grade writer, at his moment of creation his work pierces to the truth, he cannot dissimulate. I am totally a keen observant, the Afzal remarks that we look for in the work of art is revelation of artists soul a glimpse of God, as we can see in his poetry and love takes over the supremacy of our mind.

As a good poet he writes for a posterity so close and so distant that it can safely hear every secret and justly weigh every motive.

Afzal Shauq is inured to feel the pains of humanity, and he became a virtuous valiant poet forgetting the self, when he writes from his soul.

As he sees utter of ruin of civilization in intellectual respects, happens perhaps when it gets prone to , smashing when humanity is lagging respects from powerful hands.

I am glad I had chance to read his work, and remained in touch with him personally, and I achieved powers of various sorts, and one my ability to praise his poetry and inspire him and his readers with a realization of his latent possibilities, I hope his talents will blossom under enough encouragement of his readers.

May I See You

I have seen your words,
your poems,
may I see you? ,
I lived like a desert,
may I live like a river? ,
and quench your thirsts,
and make you green,
and flowering,
There is knocking at my door,
may I see the breeze? ,
My anxieties are haunting me,
may I see the tranquility? ,
