Peace for the Soul

A common space for harmonic peacemakers

On a child's picture, holding bouquets in her both hands and smiling like an angel.

There is such a sweet innocence in this picture that I felt instant peace within myself when I first saw it. I wonder,

how do people in this world, who are busy shedding blood in the name of this or that reason, ignore the purity of

mankind shining so brilliantly in children ?

I always find a blood-thirsty adult a very disappointing scene indeed when measured against the deep innocence,

love and peace in a child. The loss of innocence of a child is inevitable in life but it's not a natural growth when some

adults begin to behave like monsters under the influence of all sorts of their half-baked logic and cramping

ideologies.

The birth of every child is always a reminder that God's design for life on this planet is extremely beautiful, and he

has not yet lost hope for the mankind ! Why does an adult leave his or her childhood so far behind, and begins to

look as if there was no childhood ever in him ? Perhaps, it'll be good for the mental health of this world if something

of childhood is retained till death, and honoured and consulted at the time of even critical decisions !
