I would like to share with you all an outstanding analysis from Arun Gandhi !

'While my heart goes out to the 13 young soldiers who died in the ISIS suicide bombing in Kabul recently let us not forget that 2400 of our own soldiers and thousands of Afghani soldiers and civilians died in the 20 year war. Their lives were just as precious.

So why this hounding from Republicans and the media when President Biden decided to end the mindless carnage? The Republicans did not mind when Trump invited the Taliban to Camp David and accorded the “enemy” American hospitality.

The only people who benefited from this endless war are the contractors, the arms manufacturers and suppliers and those who hold stock in the armament industry. So, they would be the happiest if we go on sacrificing our young women and men on the battlefields around the world, while the politicians go on feeding us the garbage of “patriotism”.

Our greatest enemy is our arrogance. We look at the whole world as subservient to us, as potential enemies. We can do no wrong, and if we do something wrong no one has a right to point it out to us. We refuse to accept and acknowledge our sordid history which is why we continue to repeat the same mistakes over and over until one day when we will find ourselves in an inglorious mess.'

i was so saddened to hear that two female newsreaders who worked for the Afghan tv were told on friday morning that there was no job for them anymore and they were to go home...  obviously MSM from the west are invested in casting dispersions on the veracity of the new regimes promises and will say anything without proof but the above is the proof that they are not standing by all of their words..

i hope that does not mean that everything they said is flat out lies.. but with politicians what else can we expect.
