So the spark of the flint that fired mankind
has met the shine of the Sun on the Moon
years logged on stretches of water now mind
course of stars and galaxies in mid day noon!

So cycles of time charted for the plough to work
now clock the heavens at home on computers
gods of season, lightning, thunder and lost ark
are found lost daily on ground as commuters!

So jungles and mountains teeming with wild life
are retreats of solitude for monks and writers
spears, bow & arrows on horses in times of strife
are paintings in halls dealing in ‘heavy waters’!

So the word met the land across wasted sand
sweat and blood paid the price for air and oil
‘Touch’ lead the temple’s church as god’s hand
fossiled bones spoke to the poor’s labour & toil!

So the mysterious skies ‘Atlas’ held from falling
now echo the Buddha’s formal one hand clap
‘Alice’ is out of the tunnel & the rabbit is running
yet a quantum of the matrix is a holographic trap!

So difficult it is to manage yet in reality to escape
when the rule eternally is ‘as we sow, so we reap’
soul’s change of body~mind is never the landscape
facing this truth lets embrace a true cosmic leap!

So fresh is the breath and cool the night’s breeze
when there are no lies to hide nor guilt to keep
else the storm may subside but the ice will freeze
every fear laden step with solid drops as we weep!

So mighty the troubles when slept alone in worry
thoughts are mist in the sun if to another i share
from cradle to the grave why save for the ferry
life’s a joyride in the arms of any as i dare to care!

So naughty children imagine games and they play
teens tease adults and life in society they blame
elders mock policy yet silently they worship & pray
its my family and i own it come shame or fame!
