     Here I go

                  Jumping off my plateau

into

the cold

blue

soothing waters

below

     There I go

                     It isn't easy you know

                                          But once I hit the water and splashed I knew I just had to go

Can you follow the laughing splashing

simply smashing  

      spiral dancing     way that I feel?

Can you follow the spiral dance

on my heels?

{in the musical version the verse and chorus are repeated at least one more time, with key changes and solos in between, and a coda asking, "How do you feel? Tell me how do you feel, spiral dancing!"}
