A common space for harmonic peacemakers
There is always a chance to practice Dharma. When we feel well, we remember to practice. When we don’t feel well, we forget to practice. But it is at those times when we face obstacles, usually inner, that the Dharma is most helpful. Dharma is all about transforming our negativities into positive. This goes for our harmful emotions. On a deeper level it means transforming our perceptions. We practice transforming our perceptions and thoughts into emptiness. This is not nothingness. We are negating our mistaken deluded perceptions. We do not negate everything. We are negating the ignorance that grasps at things as things, solid, and existing on their own. The opportunity to practice Dharma is always present. It is our choice to practice or not. So, please practice as much as possible, especially in hard times. This is good preparation for our death, which may not be under ideal circumstances, but oh it is most important! When you see a beautiful site, offer it to the enlightenment of yourself and all others. When you see trauma, send love and compassion, on the wings of what might be needed to relieve the trauma. Send this love and compassion to yourself, also. Please celebrate HH's Nobel Peace Prize tomorrow! Emaho!
