violence to ones self is not non violence

we must love ourselves as well as each other

not commit violence either way

i sorry dalai lama is blinded by his religion in this way

when his finds his enlightenment he will know there is no need for death

( he said he not find it yet )

life is a gift from our creator , a blessing

while alive we can feel , experience the ultimate , infinite , the divine

sure when we die we merge with it

but gift is to be alive and feel it now

be conscious of it now breathing life , gratitude follows naturally so

no need to die

that will come naturally to us , death has our number ! lol

gift is to feel peace joy love light heaven on earth now

buddha wanted enlightenment while alive not after he die

i sorry monks have misunderstanding and are hurt depressed desperate

freedom is good but peace , inner peace , enlightenment better

freedom comes and goes on the outside

but inner peace can be felt til our last breath

this i wish for all beings , buddhist or not

whomever , all humans need and can feel inner peace

love to all

One has to admire the courage of these people that are self immolating.  I suspect , one word from the Dalai Lama would put a stop to this.  With wisdom, comes responsibility. It is a deceptive old world; The British and French used to burn so called witches at  the stake, now people are doing it voluntarily.

Timing is critical in all things spiritual. Their lifetimes , short as they may be, may very well contribute to more openness and understanding in China.   China is doing well with it's progress, but has a long way to go yet.

Love tolerance and empathy with all life.

My opinion, is that the world does not stand still,

Dear Janice,

I think your position and the Dalaï Lama complete one each other.
Instead of saying "or / or", we can say "and / and".

Love and Peace for you and all Beings.

this is wrong

violence against ones self or another, is violence not nion violence

we must love others as well as others or at least tolerate

any religion or cult that asks you to kill yourself or another is wrong

life is about living

all living masters are for life

buddha was for life when he alive

i like dalai lama but he is blinded here by the love for his culture

true religion ,  love of god , is beyond any culture religion or politics

we must honor life, including ourselves

use peaceful means to right others wrongs

be at peace with ourselves first

in order to be at peace with others

those who love themselves

are at peace with self do you kill selves

but love and share love

<3 :))))))))))))))

The Dalaï is so wise and in the same time completely connected with realty.
He is a real great guide and "teacher".

Compassion, Love and Peace for all Beings.

Quote of the moment:

"PEACE
NOT WAR
GENEROSITY
NOT GREED
EMPATHY
NOT HATE
CREATIVITY
NOT DESTRUCTION
EVERYBODY
NOT JUST US"
