Ravi Shankar in Oceanic part 1, from Breathing Under Water

"Oceanic part 1" is a kind of alap, a slow introduction to the main theme in part 2. Alap offers a possibility to relax, or to meditate and open up our senses for the music.
My previous upload from Breathing Under Water held me spellbound for a long time with its sweetness but now I have finally moved ahead and found to my surprize this warm and a kind of fatherly alap in the same cd and i just love it. Ravi Shankar plays from the bottom of his heart, wise and tender, and since i can't get enough i made a loop, like before:)
