Weihnacht kommt
ganz ohne Schnee
grau in grau mit Phrasen
Äste kahl, wohin ich seh
nasse Winde blasen
Früher war es anders mal
Licht und Kerzenglanz
Eis gefroren auf dem Dach
Schneeflocken im Tanz
Eine Kugel hab ich noch
aus dem Kindheitstraum
hol sie aus dem Schächtelchen
häng sie an den Baum
Nehme meinen bunten Schirm
zeig ihn in den Himmel
siehe da, das Christkind kommt
auf dem weißen Schimmel
Alles, was so grau noch war
will von Herzen strahlen
braucht dazu kein Eiskristall
kann sich selbst bemalen
