Is it OK?
Still waiting to put something of mine up. Below is a poem written by my wife very recently. Des Dillon came across it and suggested it would go well here:
IS IT OKAY?
Is it OK to feel glorious - when the world is falling apart?
You ask me to fix it? - I don't know where to start.....
Is it OK to appreciate all the blessings that I feel?
when a tide of uncertainty makes me doubt what else is real
Is it OK to accept confusion, fear, anger - and the rest?
when I know that a joyful heart is beating in my chest
Is it OK to feel contented with what I have in life?
and put aside the strident voices of polarity and strife
Yes it's OK, okay, IT'S OKAY! to know - and be - myself
because for me that is the root of both my health and my wealth
